Built out of
desperate necessity.
Ancile was born from firsthand contractor pain during one of the hardest hiring periods delivery operators had ever seen. We built this because the old way failed us.
Ronak Shah
I was running my own FedEx Ground routes during COVID. The volume was crushing, the operational pressure was non-stop, and our biggest bottleneck was simple: we couldn't hire reliable drivers fast enough.
Hiring was completely failing us. We tried the generic recruiting agencies, the big job boards, the software tools promising automated pipelines. But they didn't understand the reality of the route. They didn't know the difference between a warehouse worker and a DOT-ready step van driver.
We'd get dozens of applications, waste hours calling them, only to find out they had bad records, didn't pass background checks, or completely ghosted after day one. The consequences hit our real routes, real trucks, and real margins.
The pain was real enough that I realized we couldn't patch the existing systems anymore. Existing solutions were virtually unusable for our specific model. We had to build a hiring engine from scratch—one completely native to the contractor ecosystem.
That engine became Ancile.
Grounded in operational reality.
Why generic recruiting fails route operators, and why contractor-specific knowledge changes everything.
Hiring Chaos
During COVID, terminal pressure pushed operations to the brink. Generic job boards flooded our inboxes with candidates who didn't want the physical demands of step van delivery.
Bad-Fit Outcomes
Traditional agencies charge exorbitant fees but deliver candidates who fail drug tests, have terrible MVRs, or ghost orientation because they weren't properly vetted for DOT requirements.
Contractor Native
We realized that only operators know what "route-ready" really means. We turned our internal hiring survival tactics into a scalable, done-for-you recruiting engine.
Operational empathy, built as infrastructure.
We took the pain of running operations and engineered it out of the recruiting process. We replace job board chaos with a systematized, predictable pipeline of DOT-ready drivers.
Contractor-Native Expertise
We speak FedEx Ground and Amazon DSP natively. No translation required between your terminal reality and our vetting process.
Pipeline Visibility
Total clarity on your applicant flow, vetting status, and orientation readiness, giving you back control of your roster.
Month-to-Month Flexibility
Because operational volume changes, your hiring overhead shouldn't lock you in. Scale up or pause when you need to.
Operating Principles
What guides how we work.
Our vision is simple: become the definitive operating system for logistics recruitment, where every qualified driver is exactly where they need to be.
Operator First
We build for the realities of the route, not the theories of a boardroom. If it doesn't solve a terminal-level problem, we don't do it.
Proof Over Promises
Recruiting is notorious for over-promising. We rely on verified data, proven pipelines, and transparent metrics to do the talking.
Systematic Rigor
Hiring shouldn't be a gamble. We replace chaos with structured, repeatable processes that produce reliable outcomes every time.
